early detection, early cure

I work in a law office. People there are very professional and respectful.

There is one gentleman in the office whose name is Peter.

Peter is a middle-aged Asian man. To my knowledge, he is a very esteemed practicioner of the law. Like everyone else, he is very professional and respectful, and maintains a quiet and contemplative demeanor at all times.

Yet every time I see him in the hall, I can barely suppress the urge to shout:

"Hey Peter-man! Check out Channel 9!"
