I am going to win this year's Legal Affairs law student writing competition. I am going to win because of my brilliantly terse prose and my lethally precise attention to detail. As evidence of both of these, and to foreshadow my impending textual domination, I present to you the e-mail which I recently sent to the contact person for the competition:

However, I thought you might like to know that the word annual is
misspelled in the heading of the contest web page.  It says "annaul".
