From an e-mail I just received:
Hey Guys. Just a reminder, you need to have your articles into Donna by this Wednesday (9/22) and have your sources pulled by Wednesday (9/29).
What happened to the 27th? As much as I would love to have this FCC albatros removed from my neck a week early, that's just not going to happen. Unless they're fine with a puny 40-page article that sucks and has no footnotes. And it would take me all day tomorrow to even write that.
You can't spur a horse to program a VCR.
In other words: At some point you cross the line between asking someone to hurry, and asking someone to do the outrightly impossible.
