An amazing show from Mute Math at the El Rey last night. And yes, the guy really does jump around with a keytar. Which up until this point, I had thought that Crowder was the only artist awesome enough to make the keytar look cool. Soulmasters like Crowder and Mute Math use the old school Yamaha keytar. Only newbs use the Roland. Soulmasters don't need MIDI in/out.

Under the Influence of Giants was a great opener, even though the lead singer appears to be completely insane.
